First of all, your sense of tridimentionality is amazing! There is nothing that's actually wrong in these drawings, but I want to point out a thing about your exaggereted male pose: The beauty of that pose is in the strong pushing of the fist on the ground, and the deliciously tilted torso that rapidly comes at the viewer. You decided to "exaggerete" the pose by bending the arms more and pushing them away from the body, thus losing the main idea of the pose. I would instead suggest you to exaggerate the leaning and tilting of the model in order to get a better sense of the pose.
Hope my comment helped :)
Lately, i have been thinking about how important and beautiful the concept of gesture is. It is a way of thinking that is not found in nature, instead (i belive) it came right out of our clever brains. I was wandering: When did artists actually start TO THINK about gesture, instead of getting it intuitively? How did they get in to such a revolutionary concept?!
Thank you for reading this,
I am thrilling to know :)
