I had a more difficult time with the shoes compared to the snail, this was one of my first times trying to make deliberate lines. For the snail, I had the instinctual urge to make "big shapes," but I opted myself to follow the contour lines instead. I'm not sure if I make chicken scratch lines, which was one of the things I wasn't aware about until identifying this habit last year.

Tried out Pear #3. I have been on-and-off drawing for the past year, so I'm trying to get back into it. One thing I've learned: I unintentionally blended while thinking about, I'll need to stop and think about values the next time when it comes to shading.
