Level 1 assignment. The boots were very very hard. I had to do a lot of measuring and draw many construction lines. I have no idea how to simplify the laces and at this point, after spending several hours on this sketch, I just don't have it in me to try and draw them in all their detail. I am happy with how the boots came out though.

I got a little too precious with the boots once I tried to simplify the laces.

First attempt, I'll do the rest of the pears after I watch the demo. Struggled quite a bit with the shading, I think the pencil I chose contributed a fair amount to that. I also started drawing pretty much in the centre of the page so ended up not having enough space for the shadow.
