Hey, thanks for the Livestream, it was a lot of fun and very informative :)
I painted along but didn’t get as far. It is my first oil painting since I was a child/early teenager (and even then it was mostly acrylic, but some oil as well, then unfortunately there was a very long break with nearly no painting at all), so probably I should have started with something simpler to get familiar with the medium. I struggled quite a bit not to mud the colors, oftentimes I wanted to make a transition and got too much dark into the lighter areas or vice versa. And I think I got too much paint on the canvas too soon, which you mentioned in the stream, could be a problem, which it was for me I guess, so I just tried to make the best out of it. But next time I’ll keep that in mind.
Any tipps on how to proceed? I let it dry over night, but it is still quite wet (even in the areas where the paint is thinner). Should I let it dry more/completely before continuing, or can I go on as is?
I’ll be happy for any advice :)

It's all about value adjustment now. On the light side of the face you should key the values of the half tones to the highlight.

Thanks a lot for the Stream, it was a lot of fun :) I’d be happy to hear some feedback.
I like your emphasis on gestural flow of her hair wrapping around her. That is a key element i think in the excitement of this pose/ reference.
Pretty solid effort here overall. You've done a nice job seeing the light/shadow pattern. I am noticing one key element though that is worth noticing though. Right now you've got the chin pushed back a little too far, If you use a straight line from the chin and measure up towards the eye, you can see this proportional shift. Something to notice moving forward, use those straight lines and angles to measure carefully!
