Any critiques are welcome. Graphite pencil 2b-hb-6b- 180g printer paper*. Reference are characters from a movie called Centurion. Brush used only to blend the women's hair at bottom right and the helmet. Scanners hate graphite so i did two versions with different setups to help people understand the drawing. I appreciate any advice thanks for your attention. :) *printer paper 180g is cheap so i made a sketchbook to practice, not the best choice but works for now.

This is my first final work in a long while, maybe 18 months. So happy to eventually have worked out something that's not just an exercise. It's an application of triangular composition to a symbolic subject. Dip pen, manga nibs, indian ink on bristol paper. I'm experiencing some issues with the ink I'm using (Encre de Chine - by Herbin). Not dark as I'd like and it dries too fast on the nib. I tried Sennelier too but it gives a glossy effect if the layer is too thick. I want it matt. Any suggestions about brands I could try ? Thought about something from manga world ?:)

i have light sensitivity and is hard to keep up after 1 or 2hr looking to the paper. Any tips to deal with it ? Sometimes after a break i lose my thoughts and take time to get on point again.
