Here are my assignments. I feel like I am missing some thing they feel very stiff and doesn’t have any gesture? Should I just redraw the finished posts and add the gesture there or what do you guys think?

Her are som of my balanced drawings, I have a hard time finding the right way to draw them when they are off the ground it this the right way to do it? Thank for your time😊

I did some more and had a bit of a struggle with Aaron number 110 can’t really find out if I should twist the box or do it kind of like this? Do somebody know think it’s a bit hard when the torso is twisting

Hello you all happy new year! Here are som of my practices. And notes in the start I had to look in my notes to finde the hard landmarks but as I went on I started to find them without. If you guys have something to add please let me know.☺️

I love your dedication, I will post some more feedback later. But from my original observation I will say that you should work on your exaggeration and gestures a bit

Remember the box exercise

Great work, just make sure you work on your gesture, specifically the line of action ( center line of the pose). and one more thing. When it comes to landmarks, the important thing to remember is make sure you still respect the structure of the skeleton under the muscles. It’s much more than just identifying them. You need to be able to draw the 3d shapes, do a little bit of perspective and then ad the landmark marchers and simplification on top.

Here are som cubes and chlinder Booth IRL and some that I made up, I also drew some animals in cube shape hope you like it😊 and if you guys have some feedback for me it will be much appreciated I struggled a bit with drawing the cubes and cylinders in my head, but really liked drawing the animals😊

Hey after doing a lot of boxes and cylinders I started constructing animals. Here are the first results.

Wow. Super good!

Here are my notes and some of my exercises I did, I really think this helps me to get some more structure on the rib cage and hips and to think in more 3D form. especially when I’m drawing twist and forshortening I still struggle a bit with those two but I think it’s just practice makes perfect😊

Here are some of my drawings I did over the week, I did at least 20 every day, by day 3 I really started enjoying doing the small gesture drawings hope you guys like them. And if you have any feedback that will be much do appreciate it😊

Hi @Daniel Lykke, great job! As I compare drawings at the beginning of the week with the drawings on day 7, I can see a difference in proportion and shapes. The drawings of day 7 have more accurate proportion and more well designed shapes. If you feel like you've got the stamina I would recommend that you keep on practicing these. They are really worth your time! I'll do my best to help you further: - I attached an image with some practice tips that really helped me when I took the course. I think they are the most important advice I can give you at the moment. They will help you practice even more deliberately and help you improve even faster. - Overall I would recommend you to simplify more. If you see an opportunity to connect multiple body parts with a single line, I would say: take it! It will help you see what's really necessary for the pose and avoid unnecessesary details. - Watch out for symmetrical contours. You might appreciate this video by Mike Mattesi How Asymmetry and Anatomy Go Hand in Hand. I like to think of the flow as a stream of water. You want to draw contours that supports this stream, pushing it back 'n' forth to keep it flowing. Or even simpler: bend the contours to follow the gesture. If the gesture is a c-curve, bend the contours in a c-curve arc. - This might be overkill, but I think you would appreciate this video How to Hold and Control Your Pencil. Drawing from your shoulder is a big help in gesture drawings, since it allows you to draw long fluid lines in one go. It's frustrating at first since you don't have much control, but gesture quicksketches are a great exercise to build that good habit in, since the pressure is low and you always have a new attempt waiting in a minute. But again the practice tips are the most important. Hope this helps :) Keep up the good work!
