Here is my frustration. I can draw fairly well when looking at a reference but can’t seem to translate placing those features on my heads once I get the head construction down, WHY can’t I draw without looking at something? I can copy a reference in detail but when I try to add features without looking at a reference I fail miserably. Will this course tech me HOW to go from realism by copying to realism from imagination?
