This is my final entry of the jellyfish guardian/queen. I had a blast with this! (Done traditional with paper and ink)(also, here’s a poem)
The protector of the watered woods
Is not someone of whom you know.
Her tentacles are hanging
To deep and low,
Gently waving
To and fro.
Her flowered bell is like a dress,
Yet beware the stinging nest below.
Her hair so soft, yet crowned with metal.
Her torso strong and fit as stone.
She leads them all with spear in hand;
She’ll forever protect the lands below.

I’m wondering if I should add color, even if a small amount, or just leave it since “Sketch” is specified and color makes it less sketchy
You could add a touch of color, or you could go the color the lines different colors route too, but I like it as is too.

What I've done so far, I really want to take this to a final render but the contest is specifically SKETCH so I should maybe just leave it black n white? is anyone else have this question?
I also have that question. I shaded a little by hatching, and sort of want to add some colors, but it would look less sketch Unless maybe just a little bit of color counts?
