added comment inAssignment - Perspective for Drawing Anything
Asked for help
Hi Marshall - I’ve heard Stan rib you about completing this course and I’m so glad you did! I very much love the figure and all the challenges figure drawing brings. My goal with your course is to apply the principles of perspective into my figure drawing practice. This of course includes the surroundings of figures too, although floating figures in perspectives sounds pretty cool. Kim Jung Gi and Paul Heaston come to mind as they draw in 5 point perspective. I would really like to learn the foundations of perspective and develop my skill.

I did the pear and posted earlier and decided to do a few more fruits. The banana was extremely hard to simplify the shadow shapes because it was drawn from life and I couldn't get the right lighting. So the set up or reference photo matters a lot when doing this exercise.

Some pre-demo pear drawings. A pair of them (no pun intended!)
I look forward to watching the demo now and redoing one or both of them. I recognize that I need to work on sharpening my edges and not over rendering like I may have on these. I want to quicken my pace and stick to the 5 value limit.
