added comment inWhy there's higher saturation near the terminator?
it is called subsurface scattering. its for the same reason your finger turns bight red if you shine a light ight behind it. When the light goes into the skin it bounces all over and produces a saturated red or orange glow. in the case of the terminator of the shade, that is where the most subsurface scattering happens because of the angle that the light hits the form.
Sometimes there's a 'line' of higher saturation just by the terminator, does anybody know why that happens?
Thanks
I've been practicing my line quality for almost an year now, and it's still very difficult for my to get good lines, especially with the overhand grip. Am I doing something wrong? Is it supposed to take so long?

This is a fun exercise. I struggled with getting the feet in the correct position. Something is wrong... can someone help me with a more correct postion of the feet?
