Another truncated attempt at the bean on both a handful of poses from the demo videos, as well as some poses found on other reference sites (the rest of my attempts are spread out amongst the demos; made the mistake of posting them there rather than here.) I'm still having some trouble figuring out how to determine which oval overlaps the other (though I started to see that it has at least something to do with proximity to the viewer), as well as the path the center line takes in figures with a greater amount of twist to them. As always, any help is appreciated!

Hello. It's a good effort but I think you sometimes struggle a bit do add a dynamic flow to your lines when the seal is laying flat on the floor and some poses come out stiff as a result like the 3rd and 4th. Try using more asymmetry to guide the viewers eye through the gesture. Also make sure to warmup your hand first to improve your line quality. I can see some scratchy lines, particularly the 6th and 7th, and it makes the lines look insecure. What I do is exagerate the gesture up to the point it where it doesnt break the form and nature of the pose. This will make the drawing more dynamic but requires a shape design that supports the exagerated gesture. It's very important though that you watch out for line quality. It makes a drawing look worse regardeless of how well you master the other fundamentals. Use your elbow and do the ghosting technique Stan demonstrated to get a nice clean strokes. You'll see the difference is night and day.

Very nice job! Keep at it, that is the only way you get better. My little advise: You had the right idea to draw the center line. That is extremely helpful. Watch for were the tip of the nose is because in this 3/4 view it does not land on the center. It’s to the left in this photo. I attached a picture to help. I just wanted to give you a little advise because I wish people would of giving me help when I was your age.
