Didnt feel good abt the boots. Took a long time and was really frustrating. Also I ran out of room on the page. But my grandma said she liked them, so I think I won

Grandma's seal of approval is really the prize. But in all seriousness, I think you did great with the boots. Those laces are difficult and you nailed it. The snail looks great as well.
Your speed will come with lots of practice, so be patient with yourself and find things to enjoy about the process. You got it!

Realize I need to work on consistent line weight, values, line quality etc. Also just better visualizing the planes. Difficult
Also a note: I did this after I watched the demo. I did one before the demo, but I wasn't very neat and couldn't resist the temptation to blend it all together (see sideways pear) :~)
