Struggled a bit with the VR girl. Felt that my proportions where screwing as I worked my way down.
Martha Muniz
Looks pretty good overall! I do notice what you mean with the VR girl's lower proportions as they got larger, but keeping the spirit of the assignment, using sketchy lines can help guide the placement as a drawing extends out further. Here, a vertical (and light) line could be sketched down from the girl's elbow on the left, which would reach about the area of the cord and you can notice her foot would be more inwards. That would serve as a placing guide to continue extending your sketch. Using this technique is definitely very helpful in combination with sketchy lines, but more on exact proportions will be a later lesson, so don't fret too much about it! Keep up the good work :)

the first pear with this project. The one on left was done through procreate and the one on right was done on my sketch book with very little reference.

The boots for the CSI project. I struggled a bit working on these. Especially the right boot. I felt like every time I drew it, it was flat and not at the right angle. I eventually settled for finding the right angle in the reference and then attempting to duplicate that angle in the drawing and then squaring everything off to get the right proportion and angle before attempting the actual CSI part of the project. Note: the difference between the left and right boot is nearly a month of time because of personal and professional situations that occurred recently. So I don’t quite Remember what methodology or process I used to to finish the boot on the left.

Did these a couple of weeks ago using procreate. I do stuff using pen and graphite, but digital art is my focus when my work schedule allows. What do y’all think?
