Digital Painting Fundamentals
There's never been a better time to be a digital artist. The market is saturated with tons of software, and the demand for digital artists is higher than ever! The industry is overflowing with opportunities like never before, and tons of artists are finding success as independent creators.
With all of the variety out there, it can be tough to know how to begin learning and improving. That's where this course comes in. I'm an illustrator and art director in the gaming industry, and I've worked on titles like Smite, League of Legends, Hearthstone, and many others. In this course, I’ll be teaching you essential painting skills and digital-specific workflows to help you get your footing and begin painting digitally as soon as possible!
This two-part course is in progress. We are currently producing Part 1 and releasing new lessons as they are completed. Once Part 1 is complete, we will begin producing Part 2.
UPDATE: New lessons are now being released and new content should be available about every other week.
Jon won't be able to wrap up the remaining lessons of this course. However, we've put together a team of digital painting instructors to take over and finish this course. We selected artists that specialize in each remaining topic.
The course is broken up into two sections with four distinct "parts" altogether. By purchasing "Digital Painting Fundamentals" and "Illustration & Advanced Techniques" you will have full access to the entire course once the lessons are available.

To get the most out of this course, you will need access to a digital painting software, but the choice is up to you!
I personally use Photoshop throughout the course but nearly everything that is covered is applicable to most other painting software, like Procreate, Clip Studio Paint, Corel Draw, Gimp, & Infinite Painter.
Please keep in mind that we can not offer technical support for any software questions."
