I am a bit confused on why we go cooler on both sides with the Cyan. Shouldn't the left side go warmer, just like with the red? Sorry, just trying to understand.

I was thinking the same thing lol, maybe he just forgot. But yea I did 75% hue and made it warmer

In this scenario, I think that the rule is that the vertical face and right face of the cube are in the shadows. Only the top face is in the light. Hues in the shadow shift to cooler hues and keep a high saturation. In the light, hues shift to warmer hues and keep high saturation. Color=hue.
