Project 2, first attempt!

I normally draw digitally but I think I will do most projects traditionally, although I am not too comfortable with the pencil yet haha. I think my main weakness is creating lighter values, and the facial structure.
You'll be amazed at how much your traditional work will help your digital... and vice versa. I spent a long time doing only digital work because my eyesight is so bad but I missed traditional so much I've gone back to it but I have to make some accommodations. I'm "older" and my hands aren't steady - so I can't do pretty linework anymore. I don't see detail very well - so my paintings are more" painterly." Point is, as much as I love digital, there's no replacing putting pencil/pen/brush to paper!
That's true! I've decided to use paper and pencil more often, especially with drawing warms. It feels like they can be the best way to improve line confidence and muscle memory, plus it can always transfer to a digital medium too. I've been much more conscious about whether im drawing with my hand, arm or elbow thanks to this course!
