It looks really good, I believe it will make your friend very happy :) One thing that I noticed is that the back of the head seems to have an unnatural amount of hair. If you do a draw-through for the skull you may found it being a bit elongated. Here is where I believe the hair should end.
i just cross checked the photo... the hairs above his head was same... he had a really buffy hairs at that time... but i made the side hairs near ear way out.. ur absolutely right and also the contours u made... thanks a lot... i will do more skull study... and will draw from skulls..
Nice colour choice! But the head looks a little short (at least to me).
