Hey, @borahcn! I agree with our friends below, I think your work looks pretty good indeed! Especially considering your very young age. Making comics is a lot more than just doing good drawings, and I think you seem to be aware of that already. To me, these pages show some interesting compositions and a clear visual read of the overall layouts. When you ask “how close” we think you are, you mean how close to what exactly? About what to improve: one thing I’d recommend is to give some attention to gesture. It is an essential concept in figure drawing and one of the main tools for us to be able to draw compelling body language and design our characters in expressive ways. If you apply gesture when sketching your human characters, it could definitely help take your visual stories to a next level. If you’re interested in studying more about it, I’d recommend checking out Stan’s Figure Drawing Fundamentals. Another suggestion: maybe you’ve heard of Scott McCloud? He’s the author of a book called “Understanding Comics”, which is an extremely helpful read for anyone who wants to create comics whether for living or even for hobby. In case you haven’t read it yet, in that book, McCloud explains his view on how comics work and the nuts and bolts of the verbal/visual language they operate upon, and we can use that knowledge to improve our visual storytelling strategies and make better comic stories. McCloud has other books on comics, too: “Reinventing comics” (also interesting, but not as relevant in my opinion) and “Making comics” (which could be a secondary read, since it’s very practical and can also be pretty helpful - although I still think “Understanding Comics” is probably the most relevant one). And just one more thing: I took a quick glance at your profile and I noticed you’re not currently enrolled in any of Proko’s courses on comics. If you’re interested, maybe consider taking one or more of the courses below: . Marvel's The Art of Storytelling . Creating a Comic Page . Introduction to Drawing Just suggestions. Hope you find this helpful. Please let me know in case you have any questions. Best of luck!

Good drawings, overall well done. If I may suggest: you tend to place both eyes horizontally, even when the head is tilted. Maybe you shouldn’t worry too much about getting the eyes completely drawn out, they’ll get enough attention anyway. Another thing - it is a lot of gloom and doom, which will certainly serve the story, but you make the girls also quite hardened, which makes it more difficult for the reader to relate to them. By making them a bit softer and likeable, the reader will care more and thus you can better build up tension in the story.

Some really good work Lightingis cool and facial expressions are excellent. I would work on the proportion of the hands as they look a little on the small side. As for how close you are who knows just keep practicing and putting your work out there.
