The proportions of the face are good but can be better. I want to say this looks like it was done digitally, I did mine traditionally. So here is my feedback which I hope it helps. What stands out to me is it is very scratchy on the areas that need to be filled and shaded using the 5 values. It was difficult for me to see the values a bit because its not fully solid or filled in. I can see the dark black on the right top of the hair and its lighter on the left, but I only see maybe 3 at most values? What helped me was I watched stan attempt, and critique video. I than did a second attempt and I: 1. Mapped out the face using only big shapes with lines and angles. This helped me getting the proportions at least decent, I look my time here because I felt that the face, hair and neck has to look believable. 2. Once I did that, I started to form the face using only lines and angles. I took my time here using a 2H or 3H pencil and looking back at my reference. 3. Once I did that, I used my 5 values but starting with the 2B. Now if this was done digitally I am not sure which values codes to use, but I would guess maybe find 5 values from white to black, lay them out on the paper and see if they are different from each other. I hope that helps! I really tried to provide best feedback! I am no master at it as I am still learning :))))))

Hi! I am no expert but some things I can see are that the hairline feels a bit off. I kind of looks like a Background instead of the hair being part of the head. Another thing is the values on the left part of the drawing, Maybe you could have done more exploration there. When I did this exercise I noticed that the brightest part is the reflection on the nose, the rest of the face does have some tone. Again, I am not an expert, just started the course as well
