Here's a cave creature design that I came up with. This is my first real attempt at drawing from imagination without reference since starting Proko lessons a couple months ago. Any criticism or critiques are welcome!

This is cool, nice job on your first design from imagination!
Your drawing has nice gesture and feeling of weight. I did want to show you a good process that can help you build a convincing figure.
I did a quick sketch of your creature with some notes that I hope will help :)
Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to draw that example! Lighting direction and shadow darkness is definitely what's missing from my drawing. The increased contrast in your example really made it pop out of the page. I'll be keeping that more in mind on future works. Thanks again!
