@unkilled
hi, I really like the colors, this reminds me of Akira Toriyama's later work. I think it could benefit from some more focus on the highlights. the light seems to be coming from at least 3 directions and it looks a bit unnatural. I would pick a single light source and base all the highlights from that, I also find that highlights pop more if you use them sparingly, maybe try using a different color besides white to highlight as well, it could look cool.

Thanks a lot bro! I definitely have a problem when it comes to lighting, even in cast shadows, my drawings always end up looking like basic shading like in the ball and cube shading exercises, but little interaction between the volumes that make up my subject , I'll look to see what I can find on the net of resources that can help me on this issue, "sorry for the google translation XD"

Hey, @yassin benz, cool stuff! One thing that quickly stands out to me as a strength in your work is the way you’re handling values and textures - as I see it, they’re being used in ways that create nice, balanced visual hierarchies which make the reading clear and contribute to the whole of the compositions both in individual panels and in overall pages. As a suggestion (and this might be just my personal taste), I’d say perhaps you could play a bit more with graphic design elements such as the frames, the speech bubbles and the text? The way you’re doing is fine, but, personally, I often like to think that the artist’s personality can extrapolate the drawings and fill up the entire work in a comic page when we have creative freedom for such. For example, maybe the frames could have more variations in shape and layout besides juxtaposed rectangles? Or perhaps the speech bubbles and lettering styles could reflect the nature of each voice or way of speaking - like maybe the creature’s voice would have a lettering style or speech bubble design different from the humans’ voice? Just a few thoughts. I think it’s great that you’re making comics, and I see your point about how comics require an “orchestration” of multiple aspects at once. But since making comics also take a ton of work, I’m curious about what it is that you’d like to dedicate your art to (if not comics), and I’d love to know about how exactly you believe making comics might contribute to this other thing (or things). Keep up the good work!

Hey @Liandro, thanks a lot for the feedback, really appreciated. As for the graphic elements, use them in creatives ways and try to give them personality, it would never have occurred to me, and you have given examples that are pure gold, I will keep them in mind for future works. What I want to dedicate my art to? Honestly, I have no idea I'm afraid. The greatest benefit that I see in the creation of comics in my opinion, especially considering my current level, is testing myself, to see the things that i still struggle with. Remove the blank page problem, since you already have a story in mind, you know what scenes you want to draw, and you just have to get down to it, keeping each panel simple and effective, then try to communicate something with gestures and add one or two storytelling elements… Lastly, these are the aspects I think I should work on: 1-gesture 2-figure drawing 3-anatomy 4-perspective 5-shading I would love to know what you think of these steps, and once again, thank you so much for the feedback

need feedback
hello everyone, this is the first time I post here, I'm starting in digital art, I've been practicing seriously for a year, and I'm making comics, not because I want to dedicate myself to it, but because it seems like a good way to practice, since it forces you to think about several aspects simultaneously, I leave you here some images of the last comic I did, I hope you will give me your feedback.
