Hi I just started to learn how to do lighting/ shading about two weeks ago, and these are some studies that I did. I would really appreciate any advice on how to improve as I am struggling with it so far

This is pretty good for your first head studies. I’m still a beginner so I don’t know if this will help you much if it does at all but, maybe you should try to practice rotating simpler forms like boxes and practice some foreshortening it’s what helped me a bit to figure out how to rotate the head better and I hope it helps
Yeah, beginner here too, but the advice I get almost every time is, when in doubt, add more corners or edges, then as you progress, smoothen it out
