I simplified some different types of monkeys from basic shapes. When I put the photo next to each other with the drawing, I saw some errors in proportions and I saw that I didn't always draw heads that are tilted that way. Putting them side by side is therefore already a good reference to see errors. The pictures I used are pictures I made at the zoo.

Great Job! Especially the extra effort of going out to get more reference pictures. I do feel like a lot of these could be simplified further into more basic shapes, with a lot of these you drew some unnecessary details (fur, markings, details inside the ear)

Did this attempt at my first ever figure drawing after reading a bit in Patrick J. Jones' "The lying eye" e-book. I haven't yet studied any anatomy so I'm guessing there are lot of inaccuracies in this drawing, especially the hands and feet were a huge struggle and I'm not really happy with how they turned out. Just recently purchased proko's anatomy course so I'm very excited to dive into that.

Good news is we just started working on an app version a few weeks ago! Bad news is it might take up to 12 months to develop and test.. I'm trying to brainstorm ways to speed up the process such as limiting the features of the first app version. It's a balance. If we remove some features, some people might be upset to have limited functionality. But, you get an app sooner. Are there any features that you'd definitely like to be included in the first version?

I’d love to see an app. Since this post is 2 years old now has the idea of an app been scrapped or is the development simply taking longer than planned as other projects came up? id personally be willing to wait a longer time for the app to come out if that means it’ll have all the same features. I’d also love to see the courses be available for offline downloads so I can go to the app when I’m traveling or whatever and still watch the courses I chose to be available offline.

Here are mine. I did these all in one go over about an hour and a half as I wanted to use similar colours in them all. The temptation is to get stuck in with the details even though I used big brushes, so I had to discipline myself with the time and just move on to the next one as soon as possible. Good fun and I might just fill a sketchbook with them! Gouache on paper.

Beautiful colours! You simplified these very well!

I've been trying to find a way to abstract landscapes and this challenge was really fun. Gouache on watercolor paper using a single 12 round brush.

I love the different colour schemes in these! Really Beautiful!
