TREASURE HUNT PROJECT Thank you so much to Marshall Vandruff and everyone else involved in making this course happen. I heard Marshall talking about the idea for this course on the Draftsmen Podcast years ago and I'm excited to participate in it now as episodes are being released. My goal with this course is to gain the ability to construct convincing scenes from my imagination using perspective. I think that ability will provide a great foundation for my future studies when I move on to figure drawing and producing fantasy art scenes. In terms of specific goals, at the end of this course I hope to produce a detailed drawing of a cathedral to demonstrate some of the skills acquired in the learning process. QUESTIONS TO ANSWER - How do I deal with vanishing points which are very far outside of my drawing space? - How do I place vanishing points such that the drawing looks natural to an observer, without strange looking angles or field of view? - How can I construct a cube in perspective, with all sides being equal? - How can I use perspective in the study of anatomical forms and figure drawing? - How can I draw organic or unconventional forms in perspective?
