I want to be 2d animator. is the 2d animation industry still there? is it a good choice of being a 2d animator? I am talking about the frame to frame animations... please answer it sir.

I work at Mercury Filmworks in Ottawa and the 2D animation industry is booming although we now use tools such as Harmony ToonBoom instead of drawing on paper as we did 20 odd years ago.

@Srikanth Nagarajan from my understanding it's evolved so it's not "frame by frame" anymore, but 2d animation is still alive and well. I know people are talking quite a bit around the new amazon series Invincible that recently came out and that's all 2d.
