Hi @somanyninjas, great study. I did a quick paint over to address what I think will be able to help your portrait drawings, and that is perspective and construction. When we construct the head, we want to make sure that the features we draw (ie forehead, eyes, nose, mouth, and chin) all line up in perspective. I did a quick diagram for your original drawing, as well as for my paint over, to show the small adjustments that you can make to make sure that the construction of your head drawings feel solid. As a general rule of thumb, the construction lines for the eyeline, bottom of the nose, mouth, chin, and forehead should be parallel to one another. I hope this helps!
