Nice attempts. I'd suggest try working without a dark contour around the pear; it will help you better judge how light and dark your values are without such a visible crutch. But strong work, and I love your coloured version.

It seems that Stan does not use the bean in this demo. Are we supposed to do it like he does in the video or do we have to use the bean and put the landmarks on it?
I think in this lesson we were mostly concerned with identifying the landmarks on the back of a human figure. I don't think the bean comes into play until when the focus is on drawing the structure.
