Hand Assignment Part 1, critiques welcomed. Thanks.

These are great, it would be nice to see the reference photos to compare. But i would say to be careful when it comes to exaggerating your gestures for hands, the fourth hand that you drew with the palm in view and the fingers splayed back looks a little broken at the wrist area. I am not sure if a person can bend their hand that way. But your technique and observation skills are good. I would just look them over and ask yourself, "Does this look like something a person can do with their hand? does any joint or position look broken?" hope that helps! your doing great

You are doing great! the proportions for the male figure are a little bit off, the attachment of the legs to the hips are little off. But you'll get the proportions as you do more and more drawings. Just keep going and rewatch the video on gesture a few times, its a life saver! hope that helps

The more I draw the more I see weak points, but here is what I made of the other 3 assignments. Looking at other people’s work and the comments, always interesting and educational.

Great work! The first photo has some simple things to fix, The chest feels flat. I would work on the pecks and whole left side of his chest. It needs to turn more inward so you get the feeling of the muscles wrapping around the ribcage. But overall the drawings are great. The rendering of the deltoid muscles are great, really love it. Keep up the good work

push that grass back and consider making it darker, its up close and light enough that it can be a little distracting. But I think its not as bad as you see it. The high contrast areas are with the man and animal. these are the areas most people will look at first
