All super interesting, enjoyed working on the assignment, not sure how I feel about results except that it looks kinda cool but correct ? - no idea 🤷🏼♀️

Your second attempt is so clean. Both of your attempts are very strong. My critique is, your second attempt is starting to look less like light and shadow and more like stained glass. It could be due to the shapes you've chosen, but perhaps try less clear-cut shapes like triangles, just a tad.

This is a wonderful pear drawing! Your shading is so smooth and clean. I can’t wait to see more.
Heres a couple little demos I made for other students that might help you too.
