Understand Color Theory
Color Wheel: Familiarize yourself with the color wheel, which shows the relationship between colors. Primary, secondary, and tertiary colors can help you create harmonious palettes.
Color Harmony: Learn about different types of color harmonies, such as complementary, analogous, triadic, and tetradic schemes. These harmonies can create visually pleasing and balanced compositions.
Purpose and Mood
Emotion and Atmosphere: Consider the mood or emotion you want to convey in your painting. Warm colors (reds, oranges, yellows) often evoke energy and warmth, while cool colors (blues, greens, purples) can create a calm and serene atmosphere.
Narrative and Theme: Think about the theme or story of your painting. Certain colors can symbolize different concepts or elements of your narrative.

I think you should:
Choose a Focus: Decide if you want to study a specific period, style, or a variety of them. For example, you might choose to focus on Renaissance painters, Impressionists, or contemporary artists.
Select Artists: Pick a range of artists that interest you and that you think will provide a broad view of the styles or periods you want to study.
Choose Paintings: Select key paintings from each artist that are representative of their work.

Great advice, I am looking for a tutor who can go through selected artwork from art history and helps in re creating them. If any one knows about it please share-
