Hi @Nuno Silva. Nice work!
I think that you got confused by the back because of the light. It has happened to me. If you are drawing or painting from observation you need to match correctly the pose to be able to follow the influence of light in it. If you look at the reference, your painting is like you were observing the model more centered, from the back. This force you to try to imagine "if the light appears here then in mine it should be here..." or something like that.
So, I think you just need to give more attention to the block-in. And practice quick sketches to match the pose and how light affects it. Just as you see it.
Hope it helps. Good luck and practice!

Hey @Nuno Silva! Nice work! You stiffened the pose. In the reference his head is more to the right, so his shoulder angle is steeper than your. The reference is fairly stiff to start, so you want to be careful not to make that worse. So, my main critique is to try to get you poses more dynamic.
I did a digital painting of a full figure, got a little confused in the back area. How could I tackle this more carefully?
I appreciate any critique pf other aspects of this piece. Thanks!
I've wanted to be part of a community to help me improve for long time. Looking forward to meeting you guys!
Anyways, I wanted to sharpen my brushwork skills on this painting, took about 1h 30m. However I'd like to known what else I could improve on or something I overlooked.
