Hi, everyone, here's my entry for the September challenge.

Hi all, this is my first challenge, anxious as f... :) I didn't have much time, but really wanted to participate. Seeing as most of the entries were focused on characters, I decided to go with a prop. This one here is a fabled blade called "The Decay". The rumour is it was crafted using primeval magic, linked to eternal forces of life and death. The hilt is adorned with a mushroom motif, in the central part of the guard there is a beetle. Both are nature's recyclers, working through decaying remains. Injuries dealt with this sword result in rotting and festering wounds.
