Looking for fellow beginners.Hey, im looking for beginner artists who are in the process of learning art. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in joining a discord were we could share our work progress and discuss improvements as well as doing regular exercises, looking at our favourite artists and have many other topic discussions,
Basically think of it as a classroom and getting to know and grow with other fellow students.

I got a before and after portraits. Not going to lie I really struggled trying to construct the portraits. I did cheat and looked at the drawing Proko made just so I can get a better idea how I should be simplifying the portrait. I did struggle with my confidence during this one, I feel like looking at Prokos drawing helped me understand how I should be simplifying things and not overthinking too much.

My Portrait and pear attempts. Abit challenging at first with shading digitally but i'm getting the hang of it. Using Clip Studio Paint.
This is a great attempt! You have done a great job with your values. The next think I recommend that you try to improve on is simplifying your shapes. Especially on the portrait, a lot of your edges are rather complex. Can they be simplified to straights? Otherwise, keep it up!
