I spent way too long on this. I’m a perfectionist so it’s hard for me to move on without it being “perfect”. I had to tell myself that it’s just a pear and it’s not supposed to be perfect.

My first attempt. I watched the demo and realized I didn’t count the white of the paper as a value, so I have six values in my drawing, but it was a good learning experience. I might come back later and give the portrait a shot when I feel more confident.
