Oh, I hate snakes, but I LOVE your sketches! The full snake sketch is awesome. I love the silhouette, the expression is excellent, and you did a great job pushing the straights, and corners in the bends of this devious little danger noodle! The angles add a ton of character and solidity to the design! You're paying attention to Big/Medium/Small design aspects which is great to see but you could push them a bit further and play with some depth to push it into 3d space. You could make the large body loop slightly bigger to show the medium sized head recoiling back a bit further readying for a strike, with the small rattler pushing back into the picture. The line quality could be refined at this stage, your searching lines in the neck and head are a little hairy, so locking those down with a graphite pencil or something darker on a final clean up pass would help this across the finish line.
