Asked for help
Hello! I want to break into the animation industry as a character designer or visual development artist for feature films. I've been learning design fundamentals from Schoolism lectures, books, and mentorships. I'd love to hear your feedback on my portfolio!
Super cool exercise!

The last two(bottom right) feel a little over lit to me, but looks like a fun exercise. I really like the dark room one with the phone.

Hello! This is a good exercise to learn about light, keep it up! The only thing I noticed is that you are missing the concept of ambient light. This refers to the light particles that bounce off the ground and reflect on the part of the sphere that is not directly affected by light, so the sphere on a cloudy day should have a large ambient occlusion area and a bit of blue from the sky on top, but less shadow elsewhere. These videos by Marco Bucci explain it very well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fLV5ezO64w&t=107s

Hope this helps :)
Hi everyone! I'm new here. I've been painting white spheres under various light situations. How am I doing so far? Is there anything that needs improvement (such as the values or reflected color)?
