I really like how clean and neat it looks, the only thing I would change/add a bit more darkness value on the shadow. But this looks great.

Project_Simplify From Observation I Started with Skully then the model. Tried to use different values without blending. Any/all feedback is welcomed!

Hello Orlando! Thanks for sharing. These are great drawings though does miss what this assignment had intended. Stan provided some great feedback in the pear and self portrait critique videos. Of course you may just be attempting the project before viewing. For some help in knowing what to pull out of the videos I would focus on simplification and deciding where the plane changes are. He discusses in using values to strategize a focal point. For example, your skull drawing is more or less rendered equally through out. Deciding how the values are interpreted and simplified can really provide a focal point and show the volume of the object.

It's too cool for a student of my level to critique that, but I also have to wonder — was that actually simplifying? :D I mean, on its own, these looks awesome, but I don't know whether they accomplish point of the assignment. At least the skull looks too detailed and complex
