Finally done with this drawing. It took so much longer than Stan said it would, especially because I was checking my proportions with the reference at every stage.
Speed was my biggest struggle with this, how often should we check our work against the reference

Mostly the title says it all but I would like to learn how to drawing and painting digitally. I'm thinking of Photoshop or Clip Studio Paint and I take most of my courses on Udemy

The first submission was pretty bad, so I redid it by hand instead in an art program

here's my result for the pear simplification. unfortunately my scanner died so this is the first digital painting I've ever done

I know how you feel. I'm a beginning hobby artist and I see all of this stuff on youtube and the stuff by the instructors. It intimidated and wonder how many years it going to take me to get to that level.
