I got zero feedback) But I like the illustration. What's the story behind it?
Thank you. The idea is that it is the initiation flight of a young man from a tribe of dragon riders. I imagine dragons much larger than humans so any kind of saddle didn't seem adequate and I wanted to explore other alternatives.
Hi, For this illustration I wanted to try a different style than the one I usually use. C&C are welcome.

Love this card! Great work on the rendering & light/shadows. I love the pose you selected, too, of the reindeer flying towards us, then the sleigh coming behind. A nice difference from the traditional side-view and a great use of perspective / depth.

I'm going to echo everything everyone has said already. Wonderful painting, love the color variation in the white of the dress.
The biggest room for improvement is the rocks. I know it's in the background but to me they are quite distracting because they don't look very organic. There is too much even rhythm in them making them look man made.
Everything else is fantastic.
What are you planning on doing with this painting? Selling?
Thanks as always for your comments. This digital painting is simply a study. My wife asked me to do a wuxia style illustration for her and I'm getting familiar with the subject :) I was also practicing to not just copying the references and trying to improve my use of color and light.
