I would recommend taking courses that will get you familiarized with the software you are going to use first, you can find really cheap ones in udemy. At least that's what I did first before taking digital painting lessons, there are some great software beginner courses over there!

The course is software agnostic, but he'll be teaching using Photoshop. We encourage you to pick whatever works best for you to follow the course.

From what I saw from the video, I think it might focus more on Photoshop, however, other programs such as Clip Studio and Procreate can be used during the course as it stated. I'm not entirely sure if it will go "in depth" with specific programs however, I think that is up to the instructor.
