ok...so here is an updated post with my first attempt before watching the instruction video and my second attempt after. Still getting used to the digital art/procreate tools. Having a difficult time with my line control and pressure sensitivity with the different brushes. Hard to control my tonal values without getting those dialed in.

getting used the the apple pencil and tools in procreate as well, so not super happy with my pencil lines. Came out more smudgy than I wanted.
