Tried to keep my line loose and work a bit on line quality too :). I had a hard time thinking of 2D shape and my head kept going back to 3D form, so I got an odd mix of the two sometimes, but hey. I'm happy with the ferret at least!

Aaaand an attempt to foreshorten an elephant a bit, which I think just resulted on a non-foreshortened elephant with a big foot, unfortunately. Also I think I was subconsciously copying a lot from one of the reference images, which is something I have to watch out for.

First attempt; a hammerhead shark doing a bit of a loop. I want to do another subject with more preliminary drawings, I just thought the shark was a bit too smooth and lacking in structure. It was fun though!

First attempt, the hand was pretty hard! I had to force myself to use the arm instead of the wrist all the time, so I should get used to finding these opportunities for large arm movements I think.
I think you're doing a good job at making big, free lines here! I know it's very tempting to try to be detailed...

Hi, guys. I don't know if I understood assignment correctly. is this too much? Also, am I allowed to use an eraser?
Woah that's very good! I love your line weight and your use of contour lines to describe the body of the snail.
I'm a total newbie so take what I say with a grain of salt, but my only feedback would be that using so many contour lines, and so evenly spaced, makes it seem like they're an element of the snail's texture rather than construction lines, so this makes me think of a striped snail of some kind. If this was the intent, don't mind me. Also, I feel like the point where the antennae join the head is a tiny bit too bold, so they seem disconnected from the head.
Lovely drawing in any case!

Gave the boots a try before watching the demo. In hindsight, I feel like I could have simplified more; it probably wasn't necessary to have every shoelace. I found it difficult to control line weight without resorting to chicken scratching; I could lay in the initial line well enough, but trying to make it darker later was difficult without resorting to shorter, tentative strokes. Any tips?
It's incredibly well done. I do have the same issue with making line darker. Tips about that would be much appreciated.
Damn, I love these shoes. The picture is super expresive. Man seriously, it's awesome.

Wonky apple on tan paper (I realized late that I didn't need to do the midtone since the paper itself provides it, duh :D). The portrait I did on Krita using pencil brushes. I found it difficult to get a consitent tone digitally, so I may stop trying to do these digital if I'm going to get distracted by getting the brushes right... In any case, it was a very fun exercise. Both of these I drew while watching along the demo videos.
I especiallly liked how you did the hair, eyes, nose, lips and shadows in those areas.
