Hi! So, I was just wondering, If someone doesn't have the palmaris longus muscle do they also lack the palmar aponeurosis? Or how does it work if PL is not there?

Hi everyone! I just wanted to ask if it's okay for a beginner to spend a whopping 2 hours on just measuring and marking units on a 20x28 inch paper (roughly, mine is in cm haha). I'm usually slow but I'm just wondering if maybe I should just let go and stop checking everything 6 times and accept that I'm gonna keep making mistakes till I get better? The mistakes I make are usually caused by the units being wrong, the angles are not actually that bad and sometimes it's pretty much exactly the picture but f.ex. too wide. I also have a problem with looking at the body as a whole and not "little pieces" but I guess it's gonna get better with practice? Thanks!
