Nice concept here! The image on the left may be crowded, but it has the best feel. I think the girl should come down a bit and over to the right a smidge (thinking about the rule of thirds here, but you don’t have to nail it exactly). She’s too high up to give the frame the peaceful feel I think you’re going for and with a little breathing room on top it’ll look really nice. The bunny on her right can still stare up adoringly to guide the viewer, but get shifted to the left. Your flow is really good, the eye getting returned over and over to the focus of the picture. Well done!

Hello there! I have been drawing geasture and the bean for some time now but i took 2 week hiatus because of school and I wasn't able to practice much or draw at all. Today i finally got back to it but i can see what i need to improve, but i dont think my own eyes and brain can help me much so i would really appriciate some critique on these drawings. Have a good day everyone!

Honestly most of that looks really good. The lines are clean and flow nicely. Maybe try varying your line weight to better suggest which limb or form is in front of the other to suggest more dynamic form? I wouldn’t worry about improving this so much as moving on in the curriculum. The point isn’t to perfect each step before moving on, just to get a solid handle on it. As long as you continue to practice you’re only going to get better and you will have plenty of more opportunities to keep improving gesture.

A few things that I see: 1) somewhere along the line you got into the habit of multiple line drawing, so now you just do it without thinking about it. I do the same thing when I’m not thinking about it. This is one of those “practice makes permanent” things. Try “ghosting” your lines first, basically practicing them above the drawing prior to the actual pencil to paper moment. If that doesn’t work, go real light with “searching” lines then go back over what you like with a heavy “official” line. 2) I really like the method of doing one, following along with the demo, then trying it again myself. 3) instead of worrying about the whole gesture, spend a few minutes every day doing just arms, just legs, etc... until each limb flows well. Practice a single leg with one or two strokes over and over until you like what you see. Sometimes taking on the whole gesture can be too intimidating. hope it helps!

They look pretty good. Watch your torso proportions, as you have some extra elongated space in several of them. I have a tendency of doing the same thing, cramming an extra half head or so of length into the abdomen. The only cure I know of is to keep drawing and taking the ten seconds necessary to measure my landmarks from a few reference points.
