Did the project with all of the images in the downloads. Had a lot of fun with the pears. I really liked my portrait but once I started adding values I really started to struggle with the simplification of it. Still happy with how it all came out

Definitely going to have to retackle my portrait drawing after watching this demo. I realize now I way overcomplicated my shape and value design. This was super informative.

Made my first ever comic pages this past week. It's a pretty dark mini comic.
Asked for help
Working on an original 3 page comic. It’s far from perfect but I’m happy to be making progress. I find myself partial to the 2mm mechanical lead pencils that are metal and heavy. Something about holding them makes me feel like a real artist lol.

I call him Sir Mopsalot. Still trying to figure out digital stuff but this was super fun!
Cool character, if you’re new to digital drawing and painting I recommend prioritizing just learning the drawing and painting stuff rather than the digital stuff like layers and all those other tools.
I'm very excited for the course to kick off come the new year. Would love to connect with anyone in Portland, OR that is also going through this new course.
I'm based out of Portland and also very much looking forward to the start of the new course! Definitely interested in connecting with like-minded individuals to try and get a community going if that's something you're into.
Is there a way to take Marshall Vandruff's perspective class? He got me intrigued with the exercises they do
If you can't get into his actual class there's always his old perspective course videos. They're worth several times their price.
