Hey, This is my entry for the challenge. An airlift Wyvern.

Great fun to take part on this challenge! Unfortunately because a lack of time/skills I couldn't get the colors in and turn it into a Digital painting and set up my more interesting scenery iterations as I spent so much time working on the basic design. This is an agile cargo/reconnaissance ornithopter used for jungle operations in Green Hell Station. It uses standard computers integrated to a state of the art biological processing unit, making it capable of learning quickly in it's operating environment. It's powered by a turboshaft jet engine in the lower body, connected to the wing drive system through an electric transmission. It can be equipped with weapon hard points for use as a gunship. And a more colorful version not finished in time: (I actually got confused with the time limit for posting the final drawing)

Hi! How much knowledge of anatomy and the underlying structure of animals you would consider enough to overcome imposter syndrome?
@dactyl
Hello! Thank you for the stream! Any tips from you both for getting started in working with color? I have drawn with black and white medias for most of my life and it seems that every time I try starting artwork with colors I just freeze when getting to choose them. And the results just usually seem to turn out very different from the references or base ideas.
@dactyl
Hey! Thanks for the stream. I've been studying early mammals and thought about putting something together with bat and therapsid references. It's a first design sketch so still lacking a revision on anatomy, some gesture and personality.

Hey Marshall, how is the perspective course going? Love watching the podcast, so, Thank you both and all the guest artists for all the content and inspiration.

Hey, which are the best paint tube pliers? Also, would you have a word on balancing studies to improve on the many areas of fundamentals without biting more than you can chew?
@dactyl
So, which was the time you felt imposter syndrome most intensely?
@dactyl
Hi Stan. Great to see you on stream. So, any quick and easy and cheap alternative to actual hard work and practicing in order to improve in making art?

I sure know the answer lol. Thank you for the attention :P

Thank you for the livestream Stephen! And congratulations for the launch of the new platform Stan! Thank you both for providing this knowledge. Just joined on the 2h mark so not a lot of time to get it finely adjusted. Coincidentally I've just started to get more into drawing light and color after a while working with just lines, I'm sure my results will become better as I get more practice. But getting to understand the forms in space correctly from the single photo was probably the hardest part in my drawing and I believe I made it too flat.
