That 6th bean is nice. with the others I think you might have tried to over complicate it a tad. for some of them, try to just see where the two parts of the bean (torso/pelvis) are in relation to each other and then you can add stuff like the folds etc.

Bean drawings. Any area to improve on?
The beans are looking good. This maybe a bad point thats completely wrong, but I feel like you might be drawing a tad too tense, at least thats what I feel from looking at the lines. Try to relax your hand a bit, you can still be accurate.

bean moment,, any critique would be greatly appreciated!! these were drawn with a 6b and an 8b pencil, i tend to prefer the smoothness. I'm looking to incorporate gesture drawing and maybe the bean into my daily warm ups. I'm curious as to how you guys go about it? Thanks!
not sure what specifically you need to work on to improve, i think this is a case of just carrying on and remember to keep a keen eye when doing this.
Some of these are nice. I especially like the pose in the 7th picture. With your 30 second ones, I think the lines are too messy, perhaps try to be more confident/chill when you're drawing (I had/have the same problem and this helps me).
This has been kind of devastating for me as I've taken other courses on other sites, but never dabbled in gesture drawing. I feel like there's something I'm not getting, or do I just need to keep practicing?
One of my biggest issues is that on demonstrations the drawings look well proportioned, but all of mine, particularly those where the character is bending in an unusual way the body looks kind of horrifyingly misshapen.
Any advice for what I'm doing wrong/right? Ways to improve?
Also, I think the lines are really light, so apologies for that. I think I'll use a darker pencil in future.
Thanks.
consistency, consistency consistency! A lot of art colleges (at least here in the uk) don't really teach us this stuff, so proko is goodfor that. But consistency is what will drive you to the finish line.
