Hello everyone! Finally got a chance to finish my project in time. I think the turtle is fine but I'm not sure about the bird and the rabbit. Any comments are welcome!

Hi everyone! I spent the whole evening to tackle this project. The mouth is the hardest part for me to draw and I still think it looks abit odd. I used mostly straight lines to practice my lines. The paper is a roughly twice as big as my a4 sized sketchbook. I kind of lost my patience after drawing the face so the clothes part looks a bit off. Any comments are welcome!

Honestly I didn't quite get the idea at first, so I watched the first demo and drew along with it. And it all clicked after I finished so I printed it out and started again. These are the final results.

Hello everyone! I tried this assignment as a challenge to myself because I've never drew from imagination before. This is a lawyer squarrel holding a hammer while stepping on a fat book of law. I mostly draw the squarrel from the picture because I'm not that good to imagine the posture yet. Then I found the wig and hammer and put it on the squarrel. The book is purly from my imagination.
I know the requirement is to do a simple sketch, but I couldn't help but turn it into a full painting with gouache because I was having so much fun. As my very first drawing/painting from my imagination, I'm quite happy with it and I really enjoyed this project. Thanks Stan for pushing us to do this task. I feel less scared to draw now.

Hi! Here are my three sketches. I unconciously erased some rough lines on the bird and conciously kept them on the other two. It takes so much effort for me to resist the urge to erase my mistakes.

Hello everyone! This is my CSI prject. Somehow I find the boots the most difficult to draw among others.

Hello everyone!
This is my first attempt of the pear. In this assignment I specifically used 4 different pencils for different values to avoid pressing too hard on the paper, which I tend to do without noticing.
When I finished the pear, I didn't know what to do with the shadow on the surface, so I left it blank. In retrospective, I should have made my dark shadow on the pear a bit lighter so I would have some room for the darkest shadow on the surface like so many of you did. That's definitely something I will try to do next time.
I also found that my woodless graphite pencils is a bit darker than my wooden ones. I don't know if it's normal because they're very cheap. But this assignment does make me more familiar with the tools I have so I can make the best use of them.
