Asked for help
Here are some of my mannequinization studies. I drew the same poses Stan did, before watching each pose on his videos. I tried to apply every simplification he presented, for the head, torso, members, muscles, etc. I'm happy with the results, but would really appreciate some critiques

Hi, I'm creating a character sheet for a storyboard portfolio. Any feedback is welcomed on anatomy or perspective. You can mention any issue that you see, and thank you for your help!

Did a 50 eyes study after watching the tutorial.
That was 3 years ago when I first start to use shading in my drawings.
Piror to that point, I had been using lines.
Time flies.
@Draco Artn in addition to the general big picture perspective strategies i mentioned, perhaps consider adding form shadow. Perhaps design a shadow mapping on rock formation- separating areas in light of sun and areas in shadow, which is actually pretty dramatically shown in the reference, and using value to depict major rock faces in 3d space to your line drawing, could make huge impact to make drawn mountain look more 3d.
@Draco Artn perhaps any or all of these strategies in composing pictures can be considered whenever you want to help add feeling illusion of depth…
1. diminution- when 2 like objects appear in picture and smaller one is interpreted to be farther away, for example add a person in foreground to be much larger than tiny distant person in picture
2. Foreshortening- like in comic books when a thigh pointed in direction of viewer appears shorter than a person standing straight upright, not much opportunity here to apply
3. Convergence- using rules of perspective, such that lines parallel in world converge in drawing to point on horizon line, like if you were to add any object, building or road and its lines converge to vanishing points on a horizon line under math and laws of linear perspective
4. Aerial perspective- objects farther away appear less detailed, and more blurry because atmosphere over miles of distance changes our vision. This is often used for landscapes, and very important here
5. Overlapping and “T” intersection- in line drawing show one object in front of other how one line stops another. For 2 D animatiors this trick makes line drawn characters look Like they exist in 3D space. The line on top is usually darker. and thicker than other line. So if this landscape is purely a line drawing you could make choices about how to emphasize/ bold t intersections to depict rock outcroppings in front of or behind one another.
Bonus option- As to composition in general, it may help to plan some contrast to have a distinct dominant value for each of distinct zones of landscapes into foreground, middle ground and background.
i hope that helps.

What did I do wrong with this image (Value and anatomy) and what did I do right?
Hi , This was a fantastic challenge, got back to drawing in first wave of pandemic last year after break of 20 years. Probably I can say am one of those who has found his lost path, I love comic style drawing , figure drawing, done all three of your courses and must say they are fantastic. Would also like to take a opportunity to thank Mr.David finch whose you tube tutorials have been a great help. I have tried to use as much as I could from the reference bucket. So presenting “ Bugs vs Gnome monsters”
I have used following references Fig,Lemur
, Trumpet, part of landscape, sword, flower, beetle wings, and frankly am sure if I have missed something, you are the best judge, Ha ha ha ..
Hope you guys like it
oops forgot to mention the big guy “grasshopper”
Cheers ,

Traveler, I liked making this piece for the proko challenge
Hi Proko,
Here is my beetle brain drawing for this months proko challenge . Its my very first for proko . I like watching tutorials of proko on youtube they are so informative . Needless to say I am huge fan of Peter Han. I call him modern master :)
My submission for your challenge. Thanks for the opportunity. Pencil drawing.
I don't know what I created, in the end I suprisingly liked the result hehe, proko if you are reading thank you for the excellent videos and the challenges
