Quick confession. This is were I get really frustrated and quite or have a hard time motivating my self to continue. Very unhappy with the results, my line quality, proportions, overall just really struggled with this and not getting the results I had hoped for.

First off, that's a darn good frog: the sketch is great and I think the expression is amazing. Your second penguin is pretty solid too. Your lines and proportions will improve as long as you keep focusing on them while you practice. You may also want to give yourself more time for some of your future drawings. For me the first time I did these, I only spent 5 - 10 minutes per sketch and did a few tries of each, and none of them turned out decent. The next day though I spent 20 minutes on the hand, didn't like it, then spent another 20 minutes trying to fix it just to see what would happen, and it actually turned out great. Sometimes we're hot, sometimes we're not, hang in there.

Here are my best efforts for these, having drawn/redrawn them a few times over the last few days. I include my time spent mostly so I can keep track of how much time each day I'm drawing. I spent forever on VR girl and am not too happy with the time:results ratio there (the disc was also a rush job at the end). Thanks for viewing!

My pair o' pears (done digitally). I wanted to keep my construction lines visible to "show my work" in the first one, but didn't after watching the demo. I kind of like how cartoony the first one came out, though I don't think it came out very pear-like. The second one's much more pear-like, but I wonder if it's over-simplified? Any feedback/criticism/advice is appreciated -- no need to sugarcoat anything. Thanks for viewing!
